Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance; they were eating, drinking, and rejoicing.

Now Solomon was ruling over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt; they brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty kors of fine flour and sixty kors of meal,

ten fat oxen, twenty pasture-fed oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened geese.

For he was ruling over everything west of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings west of the River; and he had peace on all sides surrounding him.

So Judah and Israel lived securely, everyone under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

And those deputies provided food for King Solomon and all who came to King Solomon’s table, each in his month; they allowed nothing to be lacking.

They also brought barley and straw for the war horses and baggage horses to the place where it was required, each deputy according to his duty.

유다와 이스라엘의 인구가 바닷가의 모래 같이 많게 되매 먹고 마시며 즐거워하였으며

솔로몬이 그 강에서부터 블레셋 사람의 땅에 이르기까지와 애굽 지경에 미치기까지의 모든 나라를 다스리므로 솔로몬이 사는 동안에 그 나라들이 조공을 바쳐 섬겼더라

솔로몬의 하루의 음식물은 가는 밀가루가 삼십 고르요 굵은 밀가루가 육십 고르요

살진 소가 열 마리요 초장의 소가 스무 마리요 양이 백 마리이며 그 외에 수사슴과 노루와 암사슴과 살진 새들이었더라

솔로몬이 그 강 건너편을 딥사에서부터 가사까지 모두, 그 강 건너편의 왕을 모두 다스리므로 그가 사방에 둘린 민족과 평화를 누렸으니

솔로몬이 사는 동안에 유다와 이스라엘이 단에서부터 브엘세바에 이르기까지 각기 포도나무 아래와 무화과나무 아래에서 평안히 살았더라

그 지방 관장들은 각각 자기가 맡은 달에 솔로몬 왕과 왕의 상에 참여하는 모든 자를 위하여 먹을 것을 공급하여 부족함이 없게 하였으며

또 그들이 각기 직무를 따라 말과 준마에게 먹일 보리와 꼴을 그 말들이 있는 곳으로 가져왔더라
